In order to be able to hold the TSI Congress 2021 as a hybrid event, Berlin onsite & globally online, we have developed a COVID safety plan that will allow you to participate onsite knowing that you are in a safe environment. The safety of our participants, speakers and staff is our top priority.
Our safety plan complies with all currently applicable regulations and specifications. Due to the hybrid event format, you can decide in advance whether you want to attend in person in Berlin or live on the internet. This will make attendance possible for companies that do not yet have a travel permit, for those who do not yet feel comfortable attending events on site and, of course, for people who belong to a vulnerable group.
Please note: The current regulations are valid until 15 October 2021.
We follow the guidelines and protocols of ‘Visit Berlin’ and provide you with the corresponding links to the official pages here.
FAQ on the COVID Safety Plan for the TSI Congress 2021
We have prepared detailed FAQ for you here.
Brief overview of the on-site measures
As of today until 15 October 2021 indoor B2B events with up to 1,000 persons are permitted. For B2B events that fall under the applicable caps, all persons present (vaccinated, recovered, tested, visitors and event staff) are counted.
We anticipate 350+ visitors on site for this year's TSI Congress 2021.
As organisers of a B2B event, we are required by the SARS-CoV-2 Infection Control Measures Ordinance of the Governing Mayor of Berlin to obtain proof of whether you have been vaccinated, recovered or tested every time you enter the event.
Therefore, please plan a little extra time for check-in. We will increase the capacities of the entry management accordingly, but waiting times may still occur due to the additional requirements.
For the required proof of personal data, which we have to keep for the attendance documentation, you are welcome to print out, fill in and bring the following document to the event.
Please note that testing has been compulsory again in Berlin since 20 August, including for hotel guests. On the day of arrival your test result must not be older than 24 hours, and you must then get tested again on every third day of your stay. This does not apply to fully vaccinated persons or convalescents!
In order to show proof of a negative test, attendees must present to TSI or its agents (hostesses, security) a written or electronic certificate of a negative test result of a point-of-care (PoC) antigen test carried out within the last 24 hours or a negative test result of a current PCR test that is not older than 48 hours.
You have the possibility to be tested directly at a test site in the food court of the DomAquaree at the back of the conference foyer of the Radisson Blu Hotel:
Test station Berlin Mitte 2
Food Lounge Berlin in the DomAquarée CityQuartier
Heiligegeistgasse/St.-Wolfgang-Strasse 4
10178 Berlin
Regular opening hours: 10.00 am - 6.00 pm. On Thursday and Friday the test centre will offer appointments online from 8 am. If you wish, you may book a free appointment online at: https://testedichschnell.de/teststelle-berlin-mitte-2./
A negative test result not older than 24 hours at the time of entry must be presented again at each entry (start of event).
As the organiser, TSI is required to create attendance documentation with contact tracing information for those present, including your private contact details (see FAQ for details). You are welcome to print out, fill in, sign and present the relevant form at the registration desk.
Distancing rules on site
It is compulsory for all visitors to wear a surgical mask in the entire hotel and event area except at their own place. TSI will have FFP2 masks available on site if needed.
We have compiled all the important information for you on site in a clear one-pager, which we will also display on site.
Note for congress participants from abroad: Please abide by the entry and quarantine regulations of the Federal Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Health for your stay here in Germany.
